Holiness in my home

(Zechariah 13-14)

Holiness.

The Lord. Holy.

Says.."...be Holy for I am Holy."

Says Jerusalem is the Holy city. The city of God.

There will be plagues..there will be battles...destruction and violence. There will be worship and sacrifices. And there will be Sacrifice. One that is paid, given for all to be cleansed...a fountain to pour on us all - removal of sins.

Glory will fill the city...from within. Light will flood. Waters will flow. Battles will be done. Time will never end. He will reign.

The Word speaks of sacrifices..of faithfulness and following God's statutes. He speaks of pots being Holy...being righteous and that any meat sacrificed can be cooked in those pots and considered Holy...for they are cleansed and in alignment with the Lord, the Provider and Giver.

Pots being Holy. Jesus sacrificing Himself. Providing all that is needed. The Holy city. God resident in me. The new city....eternity in Heaven. My heart in Christ.

Do I think of my pots being Holy? Have I considered the sacrifice of Christ to, literally, cover all things...that in my faith in Jesus, all these things are considered Holy in the eyes of God?? Because of Jesus...my faith in Him.

Holiness. In my heart. In my house. In my life. My faith and trust in Jesus. Help me, Lord, to consider....

Blessings,

-ao
